Termite Monitoring
To provide you with that added peace of mind, we offer a termite monitoring solution. This solution, referred to as our "Green Eye Termite Detector", is a visual alert system that offers you a non-insecticidal solution to the monitoring of your property against destructive subterranean termite activity. It can also be used around trees to detect soil based termite activity.

What is Termite Monitoring? - This plan is a form of termite prevention and treatment. It involves the use of unobtrusive termite bait stations, which are placed around the perimeter of your property to detect termite activity. Your Rentokil Termite Expert will routinely monitor these stations for activity and if detected, bait is added to the system. The termite workers consume the bait and take it back to the nest feeding their nest mates therefore infecting and eliminating the colony. Any increased activity means that our Termite Expert will automatically increase their visits to ensure optimum protection of your home.

Termite Monitoring with Peace of Mind
Our Green Eye Termite Detector is a gravity activated termite alert that eliminates the need to bend over and remove a block of wood to detect the presence of termites. The green colour on top of the alert will disappear as termites attack the alert and consume the food source, this works using gravity. The green weight is supported by the food source, as the color falls away this gives the appearance that the color has disappeared.
Using the Centre Termite Alert, any bait station on the market can be fitted for visual detection, by drilling a 11/16” hole in the top cap, and ensuring that the wood plug is making contact with the dirt. The Centre Termite Alert can also be inserted through concrete to protect a structure surrounded by concrete.
The Monitoring Termite Alert is our termite bait station, holding the Centre Termite Alert in the center; along with dual treatment ports. A treatment is applied without disturbing them termite colony, and tunnels are redirected. The Monitoring Termite Alert allows a non-detectable termiticide to be applied thru the treatment ports without disturbing the food source of the termites.
